Thef.u.n.k.e. Plastics GmbHfrom Teningen is part of f.u.n.k.e. Mittelstands GmbH and offers comprehensive services and sophisticated solutions in the production of high-precision plastic parts for mechanical and vehicle engineering and numerous other industries. As a rule, production is carried out on behalf of a manufacturer. In this case, the development of an own product, also for the B2C environment, was on the agenda.
New products based on core competencies
BadenCampus supported f.u.n.k.e. plastics in finding and validating ideas for new projects. As the shortest possible time-to-market was specified, the solutions had to build on existing core competencies. In an interdisciplinary project team, business ideas were first collected and then prioritized based on the criteria of speed and scalability. In the next step, potential target groups were identified and extensively surveyed. The results were then translated into the development of customer-centric product innovations, including suitable sales channels for the B2C target groups.
